Dr. Jessica Miller is the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for Red Lion Area School District. In this role, she will be working closely with teachers and administrators in grades kindergarten through 12th grade in all aspects of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Prior to taking this position, Dr. Miller worked at the Lincoln Intermediate Unit in the Educational Services Division as a staff developer. She also spent 21 years in the classroom as a teacher. Dr. Miller has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, two Master’s degrees one in Teaching & Curriculum and one in Teaching & Instruction with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder, a principal’s certificate, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership. She will bring her love of education and working with students and teachers to her new role.
Outside of work, Jess has been married to her husband, Andy, for 25 years. They have three children, two of whom are attending college while the youngest is still in high school. When time allows, she enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, and reading. Dr. Miller is eager to be back in the Red Lion community.
