Mrs. Libby Stambaugh completed her undergraduate work at Penn State University in Elementary Education. Shortly after, she obtained a Master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University. Then, she attended McDaniel College to complete the requirements to obtain certification in Administration and Supervision. Most recently, she attended California University of Pennsylvania and earned the Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility.

This year begins Mrs. Stambaugh's twenty-seventh year in the Red Lion Area School District. She started her career by teaching pre-first students. For the next twelve years she proudly taught students in first grade and third grade. She was also fortunate to be involved with teaching staff development courses for three years. Eleven years ago, she completed an administrative internship at Clearview and Chanceford Elementary Schools. Then, during its first year, she worked as the assistant principal at the Larry J. Macaluso Elementary School. For three years, Mrs. Stambaugh had the privilege of being the principal of Windsor Manor Elementary School, and then she was the proud principal of Pleasant View Elementary School for five years. During this time, Mrs. Stambaugh also served as the Supervising Elementary Principal. This year she is excited to continue in her role as the Supervising Elementary Principal.

On a personal level, Mrs. Stambaugh and her husband, Zach, are the proud parents of three incredible sons.  Mrs. Stambaugh can identify, as a parent, with how important it is for each child to experience success and happiness while attending school.
