Hello, Red Lion Community. Mr. Barry is honored and excited to serve the Red Lion community as the Interim Director of Special Education for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. 

Mr. Barry is a graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania and Wilkes University. Mr. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s degree; certifications include Elementary Education, Special Education, and Educational Leadership. Mr. Barry is working toward his Superintendent Letter of Eligibility and Doctoral Degree with Shippensburg University.

Mr. Barry is a proud member of the Red Lion Educational Community and has been serving Red Lion students since 2014. Mr. Barry has worked in the Red Lion Area Junior High School and Senior High School and was most recently the Principal at Locust Grove Elementary School. 

Mr. Barry has been married for 8 years to his wife, Leisa, a Multiple Disabilities Support teacher in the Northern York County School District. Mr. Barry is the father of two sons, Henry (6), Jack (2), and a service dog Vale (8). Mr. Barry enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and playing Ice Hockey.
