Who can refer my child to the Instructional Support Team?
Throughout the year, the classroom teacher, parents, or the school principal identifies students for Instructional Support services.
Why is my child being referred to the Instructional Support Team?
To help students who have been experiencing academic and/or behavioral difficulties, which impacts their ability to learn.
What happens when my child is referred to the Insturctional Support Team?
Your child's classroom teacher will inform you that he or she has concerns about your child. The Instructional Support Teacher will contact you to obtain your input regarding your child and schedule an initial Instructional Support Team meeting. They will also explain the Instructional Support Team process and answer any questions you may have.
