Pennsylvania Department of Education
The Pennsylvania Department of Education provides a variety of resources aimed at helping parents and families as they guide students along the educational pathway.

PaTTAN
An initiative of the Bureau of Special Education (BSE), Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), PaTTAN works in partnership with families and local education agencies, to support programs and services to improve student learning and achievement.
 
The mission of Autism York is to provide support to individuals on the autism spectrum, their parents, families and friends.
 
Our mission is to serve, with respect, individuals in our community with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and developmental delays in order to enhance their quality of life and provide an opportunity to reach their fullest potential
 
The Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, or OVR, provides vocational rehabilitation services to help persons with disabilities prepare for, obtain, or maintain employment. 
 
The Arc of York County provides a wide range of services to its consumers and to the general public in order to fulfill its mission. Services include summer and year round recreational programs for children and adults; adult employment training and job placement; transition-from-school-to-work aimed at preparing high school students with disabilities to enter the working world upon graduation; agency with choice services that help families and clients adapt to the general community through habilitation and respite services; and community education about intellectual disabilities and intellectual disability prevention.
 
Each program is designed to engage participants and facilitate learning by allowing students to see, hear and interact. They provide an engaging experience for children and adults alike – one that will inspire you to take charge of your health!  Link: Byrnes Program Guide
